Application：It can be used as an inlet device for laboratory and medical pure water systems in areas with hard water, as well as for factory laboratories, greatly extending the service life of ultrapure water systems. It ensures water hardness reaches normal standards, is less prone to clogging, and significantly reduces the frequency of consumable replacements for laboratory pure water systems.
Equipment Overview：Softening, as the name suggests, reduces the hardness of water. A water softening system consists of three parts: an ion exchange section, a salt regeneration section, and a control section. Ion exchange technology is the working principle of the softening system. Its main component is ion exchange resin. Since water hardness is primarily formed and expressed by calcium and magnesium, cation exchange resin is generally used to replace Ca2+ and Mg2+ (the main components of scale) in the water. As the amount of Ca2+ and Mg2+ in the resin increases, the resin's efficiency in removing Ca2+ and Mg2+ gradually decreases. Therefore, after a period of use, the water softening equipment needs to be regenerated using the salt regeneration section to restore the resin's efficiency and extend its lifespan. The control section enables the automatic operation of the entire system, automatically performing salt regeneration based on system operating time or water flow.
